Subject: Week 3 ( The kazoo army and the tale of the strange thanksgiving)
This week started off on an interesting note. I woke up to more than the normal amount of
fireworks at 4 AM.  Which there are always fireworks going off at all hours of the day, but
this was more than normal. Then, on the way to breakfast, there was a Kazoo army at the
front gates of the CCM. It was a parade, but I have no idea what they were celebrating.
We think they were just being nice and celebrating Thanksgiving early. Most of the days
have been non-stop classes, but i will say i finally understand what participles are now.
Man!  The public school system has failed me. Thanksgiving was an interesting day because
it was a weird- like no football and the food was all slightly wrong and we played more
volleyball instead of football.

Hope you all had a great week!! Most of the time I have no idea what to write so if you
have any questions let me know and I will add them into the email. So it will be more like
a Q and A. And I would love to hear about all of your weeks too. Love you all- talk to you soon.
P.S.  I was sick this week so they made me wear a mask.  Also, there is a pic of our fearless
leader at devo and our friend Thomas the "Dank" Engine.

This week has been amazing- I just got back from the temple which is one of the coolest
looking temples I have ever seen. I looks super aztec and "blocksy" which is awesome.
It was weird to have everything in Spanish. This week has been really fun. We have
played district kickball 2 times this week and sand volleyball the rest of the time.
Class/learning spanish is still crazy- we had an assessment this week and the teacher
who was in charge was talking 400 mph so most of it went over my head. The food
was really interesting- they keep making weird concoctions like mash potato tacos-
so apocalypse food. The spirit is so strong here and teaching "lessons" is really amazing
to do because you really have no idea what the are saying 25% of the time so you just
 need to feel the spirit.
Love you all! Talk to you all next week!! gospel true!!

Hola everyone,

This last week has been amazing! It's been a roller coaster of a week. It's been a lot of classes that I have no clue what's going on and mountains of things to memorize because I can't understand a thing that anyone is saying...which is fun, but not fun at all...  hahaha.  The food here is pretty good, but I hope it will be better when I get out of the CCM.  My district is so close and we just have an absolute blast together.  I feel so blessed for my companion is Elder Dye. We get along great he is

from Idaho and is loud and proud of it! I loved my first real p day!  We have just played 3 hours of sand volleyball and did our laundry.  It is still so weird to be in Mexico!! Catch you all next week- hopefully i have better stories then!!

CCM in Mexico City

November 9, 2019

Hey guys, My first pday is on Saturday.  It's on Saturday the rest of the time I am here as well. So, yeah I am here and this week has been really long. I have been running non stop since I got here. Yeah, when I got here I realized all the stuff that i had forgotten like the flash drives and my charger and my second pair of pants. The trip was really long we had over 3 hours of delays. I hope the shows are going well today!! so I will call next week. And tell all the people at the theatre I said hi. And yeah my luggage made it here OK, but half of the planes luggage went to Dallas but not mine. Also my luggage did not get searched. The craziest part of mexico has been the driving here to the CCM and airport which I have done a couple of times because my passport got messed up through customs. I have been back to the airport once to try to fix it, but i don't know where that's at right now. The CCM is awesome. it's a lot like San Diego. its beautiful. The food is pretty good- it's a lot of the same things that you can get in Utah. My stomach is doing fine for right now. My companion is elder dye. He is from Idaho and is just a pretty regular guy. Yeah  i am meeting a lot of different guys. I am really enjoying it all. Funny thing is Ethan wait lives one door down from me which is weird and me and Joe Taylor have talked everyday. My schedule is a lot.  I literally have not been able to catch my breath.  Its just so packed everyday.  We have to memorize like 6 phrases and 25 words a day on top of our classes. I am so fried. And everything is in Spanish, but then they tell you in English sometimes. If anyone wants to have my emails feel free to forward them. And I am only allowed to take pictures on pday so I don't have any yet. I was wondering if you if you guys could keep a hundred dollars in my checking account. So I don't have to worry about money because i am going to buy the stuff i am missing here because it is super cheap here. I will send my password to dad so you can get the mobile app on your phone to just check on it and the username is my account number which is on my access card which i left with dad. I will call you guys on google hangout next week on Friday. Email me how your guys week is going.

Just a solid week!

So this last week was a pretty good! I have come to terms that President Guthrie will just be a permanent resident of this district becaus...
