Toothpaste and Burritos

Ok ok not much happened this week other than I ate a lot of burritos this week. So burritos gang all the way. What else happened -oh we had a zone conference this week. That was fun other than it was over zoom which is not fun because you don't get to interact with people. Hermana McHenry then broke her phone and everyday it starts to turn more purple and black. So I did what any sane person would do and told them that the way to fix it is to rub toothpaste all over it to fix whatever is wrong with it. They said that's stupid! But now they are getting desperate because nothing else has worked to fix it so now it's only a matter of time till they try it. Yeah and to end on a spiritual note like I probably should, we had a super spiritual lesson with one of our friends David and the bishop. We taught the restoration and he said he definitely wanted to learn more. Boom- there we are putting in the work and letting the spirit take over. Subject: Burritos and Sandwiches

Hey so this week was really good! We were teaching a man this week. He is very shy about his name so I am just going to leave it out. He is Muslim and just really want to practice English. But he has been a blessing this last week because he was one of the people who actually picked up this week. He has also committed to read the book of mormon. I can't really think of a story this week. We had a long fought debate about which is better burritos or sandwiches. Which was like 2 hours of just back and forth. It all came down to whether Hermana Ralphs and I like burritos or sandwiches more. I honestly couldn't choose because I kept talking myself out of both options. So I went off Bang for my buck which goes to burritos. Let me know if I am wrong. Love you all and Taco counter counter went up by 3 so 218

A New Victim

So as y'all know by now probably. I got a new trainee. So he have been having a great week stuck inside because we came in contact with 3 cases of covid-19 somehow. So we haven't been able to leave the house. RIP what a way for him to start the mission. But we thought this was a good time to really focus on his spanish with all the free time we are going to have. So for some reason there is a board with Bosnian hand writing all over it. So we told him that it is a native language to mexico that is pretty common here and he will need to learn it. So my companion started to teach him Arabic because he know some. It was hilarious! We kept him going for 5 day and was like I have know idea how I am going to learn this. It was so funny we put the board next to his bed so he could study before he went to bed! He kinda figured it out when Woodrum said to a friend he was learning Arabic. Then he put 2+2 together but still so confused. We also got the sisters to believe that that they had to wear masks and social distance inside because of they Elders who got covid as a protection for their companion. We got them to believe it so much that they texted president over it. I was dying laughing because they had already been together for almost a week before we told them that and a week since that had been in contact with those elders. Now they don't trust us at all. But on more serious note this was a harder week for the work because we couldn't get in contact with most of the people we are teach but as president Nelson said, "Unusual time requires unusual blessings." Subject: 🌶🔥So I think I made a mistake!🔥🌶

Hi everyone, I thought I might die this week to say the least, but I would rate my experience 10/10. Ok you now are probably what the crap happened. So you need a little backstory to understand. So this last monday I got a package and I was like what the heck could this be. I opened it up and there is the one chip challenge from Paqui. So everyone was like are you going to eat it all. And I was like it could possibly kill me but sure I will do it. So instead of telling you guys how it felt I will just take a couple of videos of the build up and me suffering for like 15 minutes. Ok and the challenge is to not drink or eat any thing for as long as possible. So you can decide whether I am 5 minutes featherweight, 10 minutes lightweight, 30 minutes middleweight, 1 hour heavyweight. I am going to send a link later with the videos attached. And tomorrow I will start training with Elder Woodrum! It kinda sounds like it's going to be my responsibility because Woodrum is the district leader. I am way excited and I hope I don't mess up this brand new Elder. Love you all and I will give you an update next week
