You'll never guess where we went!

So this week went by really fast! And I can't remember most of it! RIP!  But this week we had zone conference and you guys will never guess where! We had it at the Astros stadium. It was so cool we got to go by the dugouts and take photos- it was way cool. Zone conference was all about how we can get more member lessons and how we need to link the enthusiasm of missionaries to members to keep people active and keep pressing forward. Oh- ok I just remembered the story I want to tell. Ok- I was just about to walk out the door for zone conference and I get a call from my zone leaders and Elder Brinkman was like I heard you could sing and in my head I was saying, "snitches get stitches." So he asked me to sing in zone conference with him as a duet and I got to pick the song. So I was like this is my opportunity to prank him so bad he will never recover.  So I casually texted him hymn 37 and we said that we are going to sing parts. Should be easy I said, because it's only 2 pages and  that it has the most confusing lyrics and beat. So we got to the stadium where I met up with him, but he hadn't read the text. So i told him to guess which hymn and he's like oh, ok -"Praise to the Man"? And I was like nope, guess again. Wrong again- it's  "Upon the Wintry Day". So then his brain shuts off and I am low key and he is now having a panic attack. Then he decides to consult another singer and someone who could play the piano to try to help him decode what the crap this song is. Then I told him we are going to sing "Nearer My God to Thee". And then he calmed down.  I can't say it wasn't hilarious! Love you all and yes, it went well!

A Lot of Rain

So this week we had a lot of rain. Even one time where there weren't any clouds in the sky. But one time we were just about to get on a meeting where we heard a bang on the door. So we opened up and a few kids were like your friends car got crushed by the garage which we were like who's car. Which it turned out to be Lily's car. She is one of our neighbors up stairs. It was a crazy hour long rain to say the least. Not much happened other then that. We talked to so many people this week. I just wanted to bear my testimony really quick. We all have a a father in heaven who helps us to see our weaknesses but he does that to make us stronger and help out the people who need help. That's why I came out here to make sure people are helped and taken care of where God knows I could help the most. Love y'all and home and hope you have a great week! 🌮Taco counter🌮: 209

A rope, a chair, and a fence🤔

So this week was interesting! So let's start out with a story. So Elder Chynoweth was playing catch with Quincy (he is a kid from the complex) outside. When Quincy throw the basketball over the fence. So Quincy said that he was going to go get his rope. Which in my mind I am like you are never going to be able to rope a basketbal🏀l from 30 feet away and why don't you just jump the fence. When he came back with the rope he took one of the chairs jumped over the fence using the chair. Then he got the ball and tried the rope to the chair which he didn't do a very good job at because as soon as he jumped the fence the rope came off so he jumped back over and threw the chair over. Now he realized he could get back over without it. So I was like ok I will tie it this time. So I threw it back over and then he climbed back over and then we pull the chair back over. It was quite the process to say the least. We also did a free pray and lemonade stand this week. If was kinda success but not a whole lot of people want to talk to us. And I also got a flat tire again this week🤦‍♂️. Which really sucks but we did find 6 new people to teach because of it. God works in mysterious what and in my case normally expensive ways too.
